There is you and then there is a part of you which is visible to the world. The part which is most active and sometimes so much so that even you start to feel that you don’t exist beyond that part. The part of you hidden in the dark is not for all to see, but some people enter your life and you shower so much light on them that they can see everything now & then you start feeling huge because along with them you also start seeing yourself expanding into something more than you’ve ever imagined yourself to be. It feels amazing and you realise that sometimes some people can unlock so much of hidden potential inside you when even you yourself forget to do it. But the problem with you is that like the sun, you too burn to shower rays of light. You cannot turn that energy inwards because it is meant to be radiating all around you and even when you wish to see yourself who is hidden under the layers of dark, you need to shower light on someone else first. And there are times when they don’t want your light, even when you can’t put your fire out and it keeps burning. But you have to keep yourself from choking because now the doors are closed and the lights cannot go out a and neither can the smoke. So you extinguish it slowly and settle to live with whatever part of you which isn’t in the dark. You shrink as a person and your soul suffocates, when all the light you have, you cannot give.
